  • 2023 DUKE HEALTH PROFESSIONS FAIR, Tuesday, March 28th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Penn Pavilion. Join us as we welcome admissions representatives from medical, dental, graduate, and other health professions schools on Tuesday, March 28, 6:00-8:00pm at Penn Pavilion. All pre-health students of all years are encouraged to attend! Whether you are a freshman just starting the process or a senior applying now and finalizing your school list, this is a great opportunity to talk to school representatives about what makes a successful applicant and what makes their school unique. This only happens at Duke once a year so mark your calendar today!

  • Dr. Austin Chiang, MD MPH will visit Duke on Wednesday, February 15th at 6:00 PM in French 2231- Duke HPA is thrilled to welcome Dr. Austin Chiang, MD MPH to Duke on Wednesday, February 15th at 6pm in French 2231.  You might recognize Dr. Chiang from his social media platforms where he is a prominent healthcare influencer. Dr. Chiang is a triple board certified Gastroenterologist who attended Duke for his undergraduate degree, followed by an MPH at Harvard University and medical degree at Columbia University.  He conducted his medical training at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Columbia University, Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.  He is currently the Chief Medical Officer, Gastrointestinal for Medtronic, the largest medical device manufacturer in the world, Assistant Professor of Medicine at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, Director of Endoscopic Bariatric Program at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and is the former Chief Medical Social Media Officer at Jefferson Health.  Join us to hear Dr. Chiang share his experience preparing for medicine and creating an integrated cutting edge professional niche.  http://www.austinchiang.com/home
