When Should I Apply?

Rising Senior Applicant

If you intend to enter medical, dental, or veterinary school in the fall after you graduate from Duke, you should submit your application to a common application service in the summer before your senior year (e.g., submit in June/July 2009 for entry in August/September 2010). Likewise, if you plan to enter medical, dental, veterinary school one or more years after graduating from college, you should submit the common application in June/July, a full year before the August/September in which you plan to matriculate.

A general timetable for the 2010 application cycle is linked here and can be accessed here. (See Application Milestones)

Please note: Completing the central (common) application early will improve your chances of being invited for interviews and being accepted by schools that use a rolling admission process–which is most of them.
